Our story began in Bristol, where the passionate and highly experienced team behind the award-
winning fine dining Indian restaurants Mint Room in Bath and Bristol, had a vision to create a
modern, casual dining, Indian street food restaurant. A restaurant which would be fun, relaxed yet
creates a “wow” factor with its cooking. This is exactly what they did with the intimate and informal
Bandook Indian Kitchen, in the desirable, neighbourhood hub of Bristol’s Wapping Wharf.
Deliciously fresh and exciting food that fuses traditional Indian street food dishes with modern twists and original creations
Bandook, a term which in the Urdu/Hindi language means “gun” or “rifle”, proved to be an instant
hit with both the public and critics alike and we have not looked back since.
The appreciation shown by our guests and everyone who has known what we have achieved
prompted us to launch Bandook in Bath, one of the city’s finest and largest restaurants and an
elevated Indian, gastronomic experience like no other. Located in Milsom Place, just off the
fashionable Milsom Street, Bandook Bath boasts an impressive and eye-catching interior inspired by
the colonial era and hospitality that pleases everyone.
